Amat Teknik Sdn. Bhd. has achieved significant milestones since its establishment in 1994. As a 100% Bumiputera fastener manufacturer, competing in this highly demanding industry has been both a challenge and a source of pride. In 1995, we began our manufacturing journey with just two machines, producing bolts and nuts on a modest scale. Since then, through perseverance and commitment, we have grown into one of the most competitive Bumiputera fastener manufacturers in Malaysia.

Today, our manufacturing capabilities have expanded substantially. With more than 20 machines in operation, we are able to achieve a production capacity of up to 150 metric tonnes per month. In response to increasing domestic market demand, we continue to broaden our product range while strengthening our focus on quality, service excellence, cost efficiency, and technical innovation. These efforts are driven by our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of both our existing and new customers.

As the economy continues to grow, we anticipate an increase in demand for fasteners, which will require higher production efficiency and consistency. To support this growth while safeguarding our quality standards, Amat Teknik Sdn. Bhd. has made strategic investments in advanced manufacturing technology and quality testing equipment. These investments ensure that our products consistently meet stringent industry and customer requirements.

ATSB Profile

Amat Teknik Sdn. Bhd. (ATSB) was established in February 1994 as a 100% Bumiputera fastener manufacturer. As one of the early pioneers in this segment, the company commenced production operations in mid-1995 with two manufacturing machines, laying the foundation for its growth in the fastener industry.

Over the years, ATSB has consistently strengthened its manufacturing capabilities and operational efficiency, establishing itself as a reliable Bumiputera fastener manufacturer in Malaysia. The company serves a broad range of local market requirements across the automotive, metal-based manufacturing, electronics, and engineering industries. Currently operating more than 20 production machines, ATSB has the capacity to produce up to 150 metric tonnes per month.

In its early operations, ATSB focused on the production of forged fastener components for automotive and engineering applications, including hexagon bolts, weld bolts and nuts, machine screws, tapping screws, hexagon head screws, carriage bolts, and related products. Today, the company’s core product range includes weld nuts and bolts in sizes from M5 to 7/16 UNF, hook hanger mufflers (Ø10 mm to Ø12 mm), tube towing hooks, pins, rivets, rollers, ISO-fix components, sleeves, holder mountings, and other precision-engineered components.

ATSB is committed to manufacturing high-grade and safety-critical fasteners that meet required mechanical properties and conform to recognised national and international standards, including BS (United Kingdom), JIS (Japan), ANSI (United States), SIRIM, and DIN (Germany). In line with increasing domestic demand and national localisation initiatives, the company continues to expand its product range while enhancing quality performance, service reliability, cost efficiency, and technical capability.

To support growing market demand and stringent quality expectations, ATSB has invested in advanced quality inspection and testing technologies. The implementation of automated sorting systems enables electronic detection of non-conforming (“NG”) parts, with inspection capacities of up to 600 pieces per minute, supporting customer requirements for zero-defect performance. Through continuous improvement and strategic investment, ATSB remains well-positioned to meet evolving industry demands and contribute to Malaysia’s long-term industrial development goals.
